Hey there! Thanks for taking time to visit my blog.

My name is Michelle Harvey and I am the owner/photographer of Everlasting Life Photography. I am located in the gorgeous Grey Bruce area of Ontario...although when we get snowed in for the winter I do second guess this statement! I have had a passion for the arts and the creative side to life for as long as I can remember. I love making time stand still and preserving the beauty in our lives at one particular moment. my new friend holga - mount forest photographer

I was inspired to pick up a cheap plastic toy camera this past summer and expand my vision and creating abilities...my little black holga and I went everywhere lol. I took it upon myself to figure out how to develop my own negatives which was not as intimidating as it initially seemed...in fact, I really liked it.

After I shot a roll of film I would go to my laundry room and seal it off making it pitch black...and then miraculously load a roll of film onto a little plastic spool that would go into my developing tank. Needless to say, there were many nights that my husband had to ask if I was okay in the laundry room as I had the occasional dropped roll of film and scramble to find all of the necessary equipment. The picture of my dane with the missing corner is evidence of such a battle lol.

I am currently 10 rolls behind in my developing as it can be quite tricky to time my developing with the needs of a now one year old, but I will get there and enjoy every second of it...even if I am sweating and struggling in the laundry room with film lol. So, without any further reminiscing, here are a few of my favorites from my very first and second roll of 120 film :)
