Beauty of Youth

I had such a blast at our last session together! I have had the opportunity of watching these guys grow before my eyes (and camera) and can't believe how big they have grown. I can't wait until next time we get together...until then, here are some of my favorite portraits :)

Elegance

I should have posted this a long time ago but things got a little crazy for the holidays! I managed to sneak this shot of my Grandma in before we all sat down to eat our thanksgiving dinner...did I mention I have been busy :P
I love that Grandma is sitting on the piano bench as my sisters and I spent a great deal of time in this very spot while we were growing up. I don't know how she ever managed listening to all of us playing on the piano! I can only hope to age as beautifully and gracefully as she has!

These girls just can't be separated! I was able to get a few portraits when they wandered into my studio to play..these ones are my favorite :)

Doggie Days

All I can say is what a riot!! Tookie is a gorgeous Great Dane that loves to talk! She is such a ham outside in the snow, and loves to cuddle when she gets back inside :) and I think that she takes quite a nice picture as well!!

lori + marius :: true love

I have to say that I was a little nervous as I had never done an engagement session before but once Lori and Marius were in the studio, I knew we were going to have a great time! It is inspiring to be around a couple who are so in love! Thank you guys for the opportunity to document a part of your story :) Here is a sneak peak from your session...

Alright, it seems our nice weather has moved on in exchange for snow and a cold breeze! I think this sneak peek will help us remember the gorgeous weather we had :) I had such a great time on our session and I hope you guys had fun too!

Fall Beauty

I was very excited and privileged to have a last minute session with Dawn last week! We had such a blast going through Holstein taking pictures everywhere! It was a perfect day for a photo shoot, and we didn't get too many stares when we carried around the "ugly" chair and my step ladder! So, here is a little peek at the wonderful (and now older... Happy Birthday!) Dawn in action :)
